Sandra read law under a Public Service Commission scholarship and graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1996. Prior to entering private practice, she held the positions of State Counsel and Deputy Public Prosecutor in the Attorney General's Chambers for four years. In 2004, she joined Shook Lin & Bok as a partner from her previous firm where she was an associate director. She was awarded London Business School’s 2006/7 Sloan Fellowship Scholarship for Women to pursue the Sloan Fellowship Masters in Leadership and Strategy. In 2007, after admission to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales, she gained experience in the London office of a leading international law firm in the position of legal director, working on private equity investments and international share offerings, before rejoining Shook Lin & Bok as a partner in 2009. She has experience in a variety of commercial and corporate finance work including stock market flotations, private equity investments, private and public company mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and general corporate advisory work. |
