Ted also works closely with clients across a variety of sectors, with a growing practice in the food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries.
- Acted for Cars24 (India’s largest used car buying platform) on its Series C, D and E fundraising rounds raising over US$500 million.
- Acted as Singapore counsel to Diginex (now known as Eqonex), a blockchain financial firm based in Hong Kong, in a de-SPAC by way of reverse merger with 8i, a special purpose acquisition company listed on NASDAQ;
- Acted for a Chinese shipping company on the sale of its 7 shipping carrier vessels for over S$80 million
- Acted for Global Investment Limited (a mutual fund company worth over S$322 million) on its re-domiciliation from Bermuda to Singapore, the first re-domiciliation of an SGX-ST listed Bermudan company to Singapore;
- Acted as Singapore counsel for Zash Global Media and Entertainment Corp. on its acquisition of shares in Lomotif Private Limited for US$125 million;
- Acted as Singapore counsel for Ecolab Inc.’s global restructuring of upstream and downstream assets. Ecolab Inc. is a Fortune 500 company with over US$14 billion in revenue and 48,000 employees;
- Acted as Singapore counsel for Fortive Corporation’s global restructuring. Fortive Corporation is a Fortune 500 company with over US$6 billion in revenue and 26,000 employees;
- Acted as Singapore counsel for Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. on the Singapore aspects of its acquisition of Jardine Lloyd Thomson Group PLC and the global restructuring of its assets post-acquisition;
- Advised Aetna Insurance Company Limited on the portfolio transfer of the insurance policies of its Singapore Branch;
- Advised Tesla Motors on its launch into the Singapore market;
- Acted for Crazy8 Pte. Ltd. in its acquisition of a leading fitness franchise in Singapore;
- Advised ASTI Holdings Limited, Dragon Group International Limited and Advanced Systems Automation Limited on various listing obligations such as interested party transactions, and significant transactions under Chapter 10 of the Listing Manual and Catalist Rules;
- Acted for the shareholders of Global Movers Inc., a company involved in stock trading, in relation to the sale of their shares for over S$8 million;
- Acted as Singapore counsel in relation to a joint venture with a leading New Zealand brewery focusing on non-alcoholic and low-alcohol craft beer, and its expansion into Singapore;
- Acted for a leading dessert brand in Singapore, in its joint venture investments and overseas expansion into the United Arab Emirates;
- Acted for a Singapore-based agrifood company specializing in the farming and processing of premium rice across Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia, in its fundraising and expansion into Southeast Asia.
- Acted as Singapore counsel for Anderson Global Singapore Pte. Ltd. in its acquisition of the Jenga group of companies, a multinational corporate services providing services including corporate secretarial, accounting, human resources, family office structuring and other related services;
- Acted as Singapore counsel for Templewater Hong Kong Limited in its acquisition of Champion Precision Manufacturing Pte. Ltd, a company which specializes in precision machining, module assembly, reliability and functional test;
- Acted as Singapore counsel for Efor Group in its acquisition of the PharmEng group which specializes life sciences consulting services, offering support to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries throughout the entire product life cycle, drawing on methodologies and techniques from other cutting-edge industrial sectors;
- Acted as Singapore counsel for InsightSoftware LLC in its acquisition of Red Apricot Pte. Ltd., a company that develops cloud-based software that automates all critical facets of the SAP EPM implementation;
- Acted as Singapore counsel for SPC Global Limited in its acquisition of the Nature One Dairy Group, which manufactures and distributes powder milk products in Australia and Asia; and
- Acted as Singapore counsel for Hawksford Group Holdings Limited on its acquisition of Healy Consultants.
